Bwalya
/ˈbwal-ya/
proper noun
I’m a computer scientist, which is to say not quite an engineer and not quite a scientist. That works for me. I’d get claustrophobic in a pigeonhole anyway.
My interest is in rational, intelligent, dynamic systems, essentially today’s AI but with more structure, more guidance, and a lot more transparency in how it thinks and behaves.
Through projects like Liwiro and Verun, I explore ways to build the digital future on something solid, not the very convincing but very unstable sands of raw connectionist AI. If that sounds contrarian enough, you’ll probably like it here.

Mission
To build tools and frameworks that make AI more reliable, accountable, and trustworthy, both in its architecture and in how it behaves.
